It's been raining up here in the high desert for the last several days, and the weather keeps threatening snow. (In truth, just a few miles further up the mountain, they've had snow while we had rain.) But we woke up to this, and then the fog settled in. So peaceful...doesn't look like a golf course, does it?
I think it's eerily beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGood to see a doll maker and snow. Seems new ideas from cold weather pop into my head and then I think of other doll makers and regions in the USA and the World. Keeps one inside to tinker and create one's own fantasy in dolls and fairy tales. atk
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. We have been having a lot of fog this year as well. It looks like a dreamscape of sorts.

ReplyDeleteJan... we're waiting as a big nor'easter approaches us along the mid-Atlantic coast this weekend... 12-18 inches of snow, so they say! Just another "excuse" for settling in and working on some dolls! Daryle

ReplyDeleteWell you guys just hunker down and keep warm! We haven't had "real" snow since we left Montana. Not even the mountains in New Mexico had much to offer, but we weren't that high up. Maybe you can find a way to let the snow influence your work. I've never been able to tell if my favorite piece of yours was the Winter Guardian or Faithful Phaeton. :~)
