This wee girlie is on her way to Indiana tomorrow.
I don't often get to work with pink on a custom, so this one was a feminine treasure to dress. The doll-mom wanted both a cloth and a straw bonnet, so that the straw one could later go with other dresses. Reminded me how much fun they are to make!
I LOVE her so much!!! Pink, lace, ribbons, buttons.
ReplyDeleteWhat could be better?
Did I mention I love her?😊
Thank you so very much for creating my sweet
Izannah girl.
I'm so glad--it makes my day to know you're happy with her.
DeleteA beautiful doll in every way. Love her pink clothes. They suit her so well. I like both bonnets too. She looks made to wear pink, it matches her complexion. This is Martha in case it doesn't say so.
ReplyDeleteMartha, it's funny, but each writer tends to have her own voice--and I knew it was you even though it says "Unknown". She does look good in pink, though, doesn't she?
ReplyDeleteI'm just getting into Izannah Walker dolls, and I am smitten! It's interesting that your IW dolls look like only you could have made them, even though they are in the style of the originals. We just have to be ourselves, no matter what!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I have long been aware that most all artists who make these dolls have a certain signature, whether it's paint, or shape, or who knows. :~) Dixie always called it the mark of the maker.
DeleteI'm still in love with my sweet little girlie!! She's currently being spoiled here in Indiana! Thanks again :-))
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad, Carolyn!
