But for now: six new dolls and one that I re-sculpted and repainted.
There are always clowns in every family photo... |
Three brown eyed sisters...they look a lot alike til they're sitting side by side. |
Remember Joseph? He got a new face. |
My goofy Googly and a Coleman Walker Doll I found on Ebay. |
Wasn't trying to make Izannah doll features with this one, but she does bear a resemblance. |
A few Izannah Walker Dolls had blue eyes...had to give it a try. |
Thud. Wow. Your Izzy studies are showing, Jan. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you think so, Dixie. Maybe I've been too close to them for too long, because all I can see is what's wrong with them and needs changing!
DeleteThey are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI don't know any artists that aren't over critical of their work.
Your dolls are so beautiful and enduring. I envy your talent!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a busy lady! They are all wonderful. Can't wait to see them all done.
ReplyDeleteWonderful dolls. I love them all:)
ReplyDelete(I have a wee giveaway on my blog...http://maryanntate.blogspot.ca/2012/05/blogoversary.html)
Big changes. I see you evolving in your Izannah's. they look much more like true Izannah dolls. the bodies are super nice too. You really have been studying and putting it to good use. Wonderful job. All the dolls look so good and have a much older feeling. Love them all
ReplyDeleteSuperior work Jan, I love the Izzy look on all of them. You have mastered "the Izannah look".
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!А complete delight!! Super work!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely, lovely. That's the first word that comes to mind when looking at your wonderful Izzy dolls. Getting them all clothed should take awhile. Have fun sewing this weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Jan, you are there!!!! What wonderful, wonderful dolls you have created...so close to the Izannah look! I know you are going to have great fun dressing these beauties. I love Joseph's new look!
ReplyDeleteOh, you have some lovely dolls but the sweet little black toddler, with her pensive expression and those thoughtful eyes, she's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful Jan...EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!! I can't wait to see them in their new frocks...fun, fun!! Enjoy your day, Tina
ReplyDeleteWow, Jan, your dolls are beautiful. They reflect your talent. And yes, there's a clown in every family.
ReplyDeleteBig improvements. I like your previous dolls, but these seem to have reached a new level. They have that "I am old and serene" look to them... sure they will look even better dressed. J. Ann

ReplyDeleteThanks everybody. Not looking at them for a while did help--I'd seen them too closely for too long, and had begun to lose sight of what I was after. But now I like them again. :~) And they have (some) unders now, so they're not nekkid.
ReplyDeleteWhatever your experience with the learning curve, keep at it!
ReplyDeleteI've loved watching the evolution of your dolls … they just keep getting more beautifully complex, skillful and expressive ~ like you, imagine!
These latest dolls are simply gorgeous!
My goodness 7 beautiful dolls and yes I do think that the Izannah look is showing lots and lots. I do love looking at your dolls. Do you have them all dressed yet? I find that I like making them more than dressing them. Shame on me.
